Volunteer Opportunties

Gateway offers a variety of opportunities for our volunteer’s throughout the Niagara community.


Good Food Box Volunteers

Volunteers for the Good Food Box Program meet monthly to sort and pack produce that will be delivered to our host sites across Niagara. If interested in volunteering please call 905 414 7883 or email The Good Food Box

Front Reception Administrative Volunteers

Responsibilities include, answering phones, greeting guests and providing administration assistance to our Admin staff, (photocopying, mailing, phone calls, organizing, etc. ).

Fundraising & Event Volunteers

Each year Gateway holds a variety of events and fundraisers. We often look for individuals to assist us in the preparation to hold these events.

We also seek out volunteers who help us the day of the event. Volunteers are also required to sit on committees who assist us in the planning of an event or fundraiser.

Recreational Fundraising

Each summer small scale fundraisers are held to raise funds for recreational programming within Gateway. This could be a local car wash, garage sale, or parade support.

The minimum age to volunteer at Gateway is 18 years of age. At times 16 year olds are considered depending on the placement opportunity.
